The Commissioner for Insurance and CEO of the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), Olusegun Omosehin, will headline Insurance Meets Tech (IMT) 2024.
This was revealed in a statement signed by the IMT team, the event which is set to take place on Friday, September 27, 2024, at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos is now in its third edition.
According to the host, the event has become one of West Africa’s premier forums at the crossroads of insurance and technology.
This year’s edition combines insightful discussions on industry innovation with a fresh focus on youth culture, creativity, and financial inclusion.
The new segment, IMT Redefined, will explore the fusion of Afrobeats, technology, and the digital economy, aiming to attract young professionals and expand the conversation beyond traditional insurance boundaries.
Olusegun Omosehin’s presence at the event highlights the increasing importance of regulatory perspectives in guiding the future of the insurance industry. His keynote address will offer insights into how regulatory frameworks are adapting to the rapid digitalization of the insurance sector.
Joining Omosehin on the prestigious panel is Niyi Onifade, CEO of Heirs Life Insurance, who has been a pivotal figure in reshaping insurance delivery in Nigeria. Stephen Alangbo, Managing Director of Cornerstone Insurance, with over 30 years of industry experience, will share his expertise on expanding insurance coverage across the region.
