Peter Obi Fulfils Promise On Why He Shed Tears

The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has given a lifeline support to Ms. Gimba Sophia Emmanuel, whose story of unemployment after many years of graduation caused Obi to shed tears while narrating her ordeal.

It would be recalled that Obi while making an official reaction for the first time after the presidential election results, was weighed down by emotions while narrating how Ms Sophia Emmanuel took to serving tea as job after graduation from higher institution and many years of unemployment.

Though, Sophia Emmanuel had also acquired a skill of Cake baking but she could not set up her own business because of lack of fund, about N70, 000 to buy her own baking Oven.

Her plight attracted Obi who assured her of assistance to set up her business which she earnestly wished to accomplish.

But on Saturday, in his verified Tweeter handle @PeterObi, disclosed his fulfilment of the promise to Ms Sophia Emmanuel.

According to him, “Today, I fulfilled my pledge to assist Ms. Gimba Sophia Emmanuel in her aspiration to acquire an oven and start her baking and confectionery business.

“She has indicated that she will procure a Made in Nigeria oven – thus enhancing the value chain and putting into effect, the consumption to production mantra. -PO”
