NECA Appoints Adewale Oyerinde As New Director General

Mr. Adewale Oyerinde, newly appointed Director General of NECA

The Nigeria Employers Consultative Association (NECA) has appointed Mr Adewale Oyerinde as the Director General of the association with effect from August 1st, 2022.

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Oyerinde
had been Deputy Director and Head of Membership Services, a position since 1st February, 2018.

A memo to that effect available to OPTIMUM TIMES indicated that the appointment of Oyerinde follows “an extensive recruitment exercise, coordinated by a renowned Consulting firm” and is in line with the responsibilities vested on the Management Committee of your Association, NECA, to appoint Director-General of the Association.

Oyerinde joined the Associaton on 10 April, 2010 and served at various times as Industnal Relations Officer and Senior Executive, Learning and Development.

He holds a Masters Degree from the University of Lagos, an alumnus of the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ILO), and full Member of the Chastered institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), among others.

He in expected to build on the legacies of professionalism and excellent service that ‘the Association is known for and take it to greater heights.

The memo endorsed by the NECA President and Chairman of Council, Mr. Taiwo Adeniyi to all its member companies, urged them to accord the newly appointed Director General all support to enable him and the Secretariat team successfully pilot the affairs of the Association.
