Jigawa State Gov. Namadi Appoints 59 Aides

…Reassigns Three Advisers

Governor Umar Namadi has approved the appointment of 59 aides, while effecting a minor adjustment on the portfolios of his three Special Advisers.

These were contained in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Malam Bala Ibrahim, released to the media on Wednesday.

Those affected by the adjustment are:
Hudu Babangida, Special Adviser on Chieftaincy Affairs (Dutse Emirate) now Special Adviser to the Governor on Senior Citizens Affairs; Samaila Dawaki, Special Adviser on Chieftaincy Affairs (Hadejia Emirate) now Special Adviser to the Governor on Micro Finance Banks while Lawan Muhammad Garba (Bullet) Special Adviser on Inter- Party Affairs is reassigned to Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Affairs.

The newly appointed aides to the governor includes two new Special Advisers, eight Senior Special Assistants, (SSAs) and 49 Special Assistants.

The newly appointed Special Advisers are: Dr. Usman Muhammad Jahun as Special Adviser on Security Matters and Muhammad Baffale Abbas as Special Adviser on Chieftaincy Affairs.

The appointed Senior Special Assistants are: Abdulmajid Ismail, Senior Special Assistant on Revenue; Aminu Sani Babura,
Senior Special Assistant on Land Matters; Muhammad Adamu Sarawa, Senior Special Assistant on Small and Medium Enterprises, (SMEs).

Others includes Bala Idi Kazaure,
Senoir Special Assistant on Inter – Party Affairs; Zakari Ya’u Garba,
Senior Special Assistant on Social Security; Muhammad Adamu Dansitta, Senior Special Assistant on Agric Business NGOs; Abdullahi D. Guri, Senior Special Assistant on Public Financial Management and Aliyu Dingare, Senior Special Assistant on Youth Mobilization (Ringim Emirate);

Special Assistants are as Idris Adamu Auyo as Special Assistant on Revenue II; Fatima Musa Isah Special Assistant on Women Empowerment; Ibrahim Kwaciri Special Assistant on Youth Mobilization; Nasiru Muhammad Chamo, Special Assistant on Renewable Energy; Ahmed Kwaimawa, Special Assistant on Culture II; Adamu Mai Dabino Babaldu, Special Assistant on Small and Medium Enterprises II.

Also appointed included Muhammad Usman Wurno, Special Assistant Stakeholders Engagement; Hashim Hashim Gumel, Special Assistant on ICTII; Ibrahim Abdu (Shana) Special Assistant on Guidance and Counseling; Bello Dan Sokoto, Special Assistant on Rural Development II; Adamu Dan Fulani Gafaya,Special Assistant on Nomadic II; Abubakar Suleiman Marke, Special Assistant on Political Mobilization among others.

The statement said appointments of the appointees to serve the State in this capacity is based on merit, competence and personal integrity.

The SSG said “While congratulating you, may I remind you that, it is your responsibility to prove to the people of Jigawa State that you are indeed worthy of adding value to the service of the State”.

He urged all the appointees to work diligently for sound execution of this administration’s policies and programmes.

The statement revealed that all the appointments take immediate effect.
