Ex-Big Brother Naija Housemate Gets Political Appointment

Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State has appointed former Big Brother Naija housemate, Gedoni Apata, as his Special Assistant.

Gedoni was appointed as Ayade’s assistant on Garment Factory and Branding.

Gedoni, a fashion designer, in a post on social media described his appointment as grace.

Also reacting to the news in a post on her Instagram, Khafi Kareem, attributed Gedoni’s feat to choosing to be with her.

She wrote “I keep saying this. No one can be around me and not be blessed. Because all we do is WHAT? Congratulations baby #Repost @hitfmcalabar @gedoniofficial has been appointed as the special assistant to Governor Ben Ayade on Garment Factory and Branding.”

It would be recalled that Gedoni and Khafi are set to tie the knot after they got engaged on Christmas day.

The lovebirds were on vacation in Cape Verde when Gedoni asked her to marry him.

“Oh and I got the best Christmas gift ever. I said Yes Mrs Ekpata loafing,” Khafi wrote on Instagram.
