High Chief Raymond Alerogho Dokpesi, founder of Daar Communications Plc, a holding company of Ray power FM and Africa Independent Television (AIT), has died at the age of 71.

He reportedly died at a yet to disclosed private hospital in Abuja.

Dokpesi who until his death, was
a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a major campaign arrow head of the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar before his emergence as the flag bearer of the PDP in 2023 Presidential election.

Dokpesi had sometime into the presidential campaign went off public scene for undisclosed protracted illness.

The details of his death is yet to be announced by his family.

The media guru pioneer private radio and television broadcasting in Nigeria just he was the one that commence 24 hours nonstop broadcasting.
