Finally, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, has put to rest speculations about his political future, with a declaration that he will be contesting for the Presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC)
He formally announced this via of his verified Twitter handle, @ProfOsinbajo, Monday morning.
According him in two tweets, “I am today, with utmost humility formally declaring my intention to run for the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the platform of APC.
“At the direction of Mr. President, I have represented our country in several international engagements. I have been in markets, factories, schools, and farms. I have visited our gallant troops in the North-East and our brothers and sisters in the IDP camps.”
Meanwhile, he is expected to make a public declaration in Abuja later today.
With his declaration, he will be slogging out with his political god father, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; Rotimi Amaechi, David Umahi, among others who are contest for the topmost job of the nation under the same political party, APC, during party primaries.
