Why We Rebranded To REX, Commission New Head Office – Royal Exchange Assurance

The Managing Director of REX Insurance formerly known as Royal Exchange Assurance, Mrs. Ebelechukwu Nwachukwu has revealed that the revamping of brand of the company is to reflect all the changes that have already happened to the business.

Ebelechukwu who made the revelation at the commissioning of the company’s new head office and Brand Launch recently in Victoria Island, Lagos said that the company is still undergoing transformation.

Speaking on the different segments of the building, she stated that the new headquarters will serve as a hub of innovation and collaboration.

According to her, the building has been designed to be an energy saving building that includes a creche for employees and a gym to promote wellness.

” We also will introduce a games area to ensure a balance of work and play within our premises. It is designed to be dynamic and inclusive, an environment where ideas can flourish, and talents can thrive,” she said.

In her optimism, she maintained that the building will be the heart of their operations, driving towards new horizons and greater achievements.

“We have also revamped all our locations in Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Benin while setting up services on Ikorodu road, all in an on-going process to ensure the same standards across all the locations where we operate, she added.

Highlighting some of the new developments that prompted the rebranding exercise, she stated that the management has transformed the company’s approach to customer services and improved human resources.

“This brand is a true representation of who we are and what we stand for , a digital, customer focused company, with great simplified products, a commitment to developing climate based Agric insurance products, develop simple inclusive products to serve the growing retail market and a customer excellence culture that serves our Corporate customers and Brokers,” she said

The Chairman, Board of Directors, REX Insurance Limited, Mr. Ike Chioke, during his address added that the decision to move to this state-of-the-art head office was driven by our vision to create a workspace that not only meets the needs of our employees but also symbolizes our forward-thinking ethos

“This new facility is more than just a building; it represents a new era for our company, one where we are better equipped to serve our customers, foster collaboration, and drive innovation. It is a space designed to inspire creativity, enhance productivity, and support our mission to deliver exceptional service,” he said.

Speaking on the new developments, he stated that the new head office will enable the claims department pay claims promptly than they’ve been doing.

Chioke added that the new head office is a testament to its commitment to digitalization and a testament to dedication, reliability and trustworthiness.

“We have integrated the latest technologies to enhance our operational efficiency, improve communication, and deliver superior customer experiences. From advanced data analytics to seamless digital platforms, we are embracing the future and ensuring that our services remain accessible, efficient, and user-friendly.

On Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Initiative and Sustainability, he explained that the management have taken significant steps to reduce its environmental footprint.

“Our new head office is equipped with solar panels, providing a sustainable energy source that reduces our reliance on traditional power and minimizes our carbon footprint,” he said.
