The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has disclosed that Nation recorded an all time low 520 new cases of #COVID19, being the lowest in recent times.
Although, it did not give explanations on what accounted for the decreased new cases, it may not be unconnected with low testing of persons given social activities which dominated the celebration of Valentine’s day and pre-occupied most of the day.
OPTIMUM TIMES notes that Nigeria on 13 February, 2021 recorded 1,143 Covid-19 New Cases.
According statistics released on its website, NCDC revealed that for 14th, February, record of new cases showed that Ondo-120, Borno-41, Ebonyi-37, Benue-33, Plateau-30, FCT-29, Nasarawa-25, Ogun-25, Edo-24, Osun-24, Katsina-22, Kaduna-21, Niger-20, Kwara-14, Ekiti-13, Yobe-10, Oyo-4, Bayelsa-1 and Jigawa-1.
Further, NCDC showed the that 146,184 confirmed, 120,838 discharged and 1,752 deaths.
