Ahead of the 2019 Presidential election, delegates from the five South Eastern States of Nigeria under the aegis of Atiku Abubakar Vanguard (AAV), have assured the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate of their massive votes.

While rising from a marathon meeting in Nnewi, Anambra State at the weekend, the delegates comprising elders, youths, academia, businessmen and women, resolved that the states would vote massively for Atiku Abubarkar in the forthcoming 2019 presidential election.

The South East Zonal Coordinator of the group, Dr Nkemjika Ogini, who addressed the meeting said in a statement on Monday that, “Members of Atiku Abubarkar Vanguard nationwide and in diaspora have resolved to work tirelessly until Atiku  Abubarkar is enthroned as Nigeria’s next president”.

His words: “Nigerians have decided to make a change come 2019; to vote massively for Atiku Abubarkar in a landslide victory. We are not hungry people looking for money rather we are concerned Nigerians looking for a better Nigeria.

“The APC led government has failed the nation and does not require our votes anymore.  For a govt that has stayed nearly four years and has nothing to show as development rather corruption is nurtured in another dimension.

“It is a shame for this govt to begin to make promises of what they will do if re-elected into office. What this govt should have been doing is to publicize to the public what they have done”, Dr Ogini added.
