Osinbajo Aborts Official Trip As Escort Rider Dies

Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, has aborted his official trip following the death of one his police escort riders.

The escort rider, Inspector Ali Gomina, 45 died following an accident on the road to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Friday.

Osinbajo expressed sadness over the death of Inspector Gomina in a condolence message to the deceased family.

He described Gomina as a diligent, hardworking and serious-minded officer who will be greatly missed by the team.
