Ministers Get Portfolios As President Buhari Reserves Minister Of Petroleum Resources To Self

*** Appoints Timipre Silva As Minister Of State

President Muhammadu Buhari has inaugurated the ministers just as he assigned respective portfolios to them.

However, as was done in 2015, he reserved the post of Minister of Petroleum Resources to himself, appointing Timipre Silva (Bayelsa) as Minister of State Petroleum Resources.

President Buhari further expanded the number of ministries by creating additional ministry, Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development while appointing Sadiya Umar Faruk (Zamfara) as the pioneer Minister.

He separated the Ministry of Power from the erstwhile Ministry of Power, works and housing and appointed Engr. Sale Mamman (Taraba) as Minister of Power while Babatunde Fashola was appointed the Minister of Works and housing.

The inauguration was done at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The full list of the Ministers and their respective portfolios are as follows:
