How Man Killed His Biological Parents, Injured Two Others In Jigawa

The police in Jigawa is questioning a 37-year-old man for allegedly killing his biological parents and seriously injuring two other persons in the state.

The Command’s spokesman, DSP Lawan Shisu Adam, who confirmed the incident in a statement on Thursday said the incident happened at Zarada-Sabuwa village in Gagarawa loca government area of the state

According to him, the police got a report that one Munkaila Ahmadu, 37, of Zarada -Sabuwa village in Gagarawa used a wooden pestle and attacked Ahmadu Muhammad 70 a village head of Zarada and his wife, Sabuwa Hauwa Ahmadu, 60.

Also attacked were Kailu Badugu, 65 and Hakalima Ahmadu, 50 all of Zarada -Sabuwa village Gagarawa LGA.

“Upon receipt of the incident a team of policemen policemen visited the scene of crime and conveyed the victims to General Hospital Gumel.

“The said Ahmadu Muhammad and Hauwa Ahmadu were certified dead by Medical Doctor as a result of head injuries sustained, while Kailu and Hakalima who sustained various degree of injuries were admitted.

” The suspect was arrested and the exhibit was recovered. Preliminary investigation revealed that, Ahmadu Muhammad and Hauwa Ahmadu happened to be the biological parents of the suspect.

“The Commissioner of Police, Aliyu Sale Tafida has directed that, the case should be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Dutse immediately for discreet investigation and possible prosecution.”
