Foremost Christian Leader, Madam Dibor Dies At 103 Years

The death has occurred of Madam Theresa Nwudungene DIBOR a foremost Christian and Community leader in Awka, Anambra State. She was aged 103 years.

At the time of her demise on Wednesday, 21st April, 2021, Madam Dibor, popularly known as Naganaga Niru Chukwu was the oldest woman in Umukwa village, Awka.

She was a devout and committed Catholic who practiced her Christian faith to the fullest despite opposition from the traditionalists who never believed in her new found religion.

During her life time, Madam Dibor impacted the lives of many people whom she came in contact with through her generosity. This earned her a lifetime award by the community three years ago.

Madam Dibor is survived by numerous children, grand and great grand children including Lady Grace Obiechina, a retired Chief Nursing Officer.

She will buried on Friday, 21st May, 2021 in her family compound in Umukwa village after a funeral Mass at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Awka.
