FG Pays Treasury-Funded Workers February Salaries, Wage Award Arrears

The Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation (OAGF) has confirmed commencement of paying February 2026 salaries to Federal Government treasury-funded workers.

The payments which began on Monday, March 2, 2026 also include one month out of the three months outstanding wage award arrears.

However, the Office explained that the delay in the payment of the February 2026 salaries was due to “technical glitch”, assuring that it has been tackled and necessary measures have been put in place to prevent a recurrence.

According to a statement by OAGF Director of press and public relations, Bawa Mokwa, the Office has received approval and have concluded the process of payment of one month wage award arrears out of the three months outstanding.
