FBN General Insurance Poise to Make Insurance Simple, Affordable with New Products

In a bid to ensure affordability and simplicity of the Insurance product the FBN General Insurance has Introduced FlexiGuard, AutoFlexi, FlexiHome, a three Simple, Affordable and Flexible insurance solutions to the Nigerian market.

The three new FBN General Insurance products  which were introduce by the Managing Director/CEO, FBN General Insurance, Mr Bode Opadokun at a press conference held today in Lagos are geared towards encouraging more Nigerians especially young upcoming corporate youths to embrace the Insurance product

Giving a detail description of the products, He explained that the Auto Flexi plan is categorized into three; Bronze, Silver and Gold, Flexi guard is categorized into three namely; silver, gold and platinum while the Flexi Home is categorized into four; Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.

Speaking on the Auto Flexi, he stated “Auto Flexi affords an individual the opportunity, irrespective of the value of the vehicle you have, you can still have a comprehensive insurance.”

Sum insured for Accident Damage/ fire (bronze) N300, 000, silver N500, 000 and gold N1, 000,000 while 3rd party is N2, 000,000 for all categories at 15,000 for bronze, N25, 000 for Silver and N40, 000 for Gold at N15, 000 annual premium, adding that the FBN General Insurance Rapid response squad will be  available to get to the spot of accident to resolve claim issues.

On Flexi Guard, he said Flexi Guard provides cover for Any form of Accident, Strike, Riot and Civil Commotion, Dog bite, Wild animal attack and motorcycling as Rider or Passenger

Sum insured for Death/permanent Disablement (silver) N500, 000, gold N1, 000,000 and platinum N2, 000,000, Medicals (silver) N50, 000, Gold N100,000 and platinum N200,000 while for burial N50, 000 for all categories at N1,500 premium for silver, N3, 000 premium for gold and N5, 000 premium for platinum

On the Flexi Home he explained that the plan will cover loss or damage of house content with the value of N1,000,000 at N7,500 annual premium for  Flexi home bronze, N2,000,000 at N15,000 annual premium for Silver and N5, 000,000 at N30, 000 annual premium for Platinum

On simplicity of the plan, he said “since people don’t have time to put a list of assets they have, we have come up with this, you pick up a policy, there’s a single article limit of N50,000 and all you need to do is to have the receipt of your properties, specify any item above 50,000 so that the single article limit will not be applicable whenever there is a claim.”

“Those that needs Insurance cover is the startups not the already made individuals because you have to save at any loss to recover” he said
