COVID-19 Pandemic Cases In Nigeria Exceeds 5,000 As NCDC Confirms 193 New Cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday confirmed 193 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total confirmed infections in the country to 5,162.

The statistical distribution of the 193 confirmed new cases are: 58-Lagos, 46-Kano, 35-Jigawa, 12-Yobe, 9-FCT, 7-Ogun, 5-Plateau, 5-Gombe, 4-Imo, 3-Edo, 3-Kwara, 3-Borno, 1-Bauchi, 1-Nasarawa and 1-Ondo.

Also, of the current total confirmed  5,162 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria,  1,180 had been discharged while  167 infected persons died.
