Christmas Carol: CIIN Says Insurance Market Is Ready For Cover Of Voice Loss

The Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria has assured that the insurance market is ready to cover the risk of loss of voice during stage performances.

The President of the institute Sir Muftau Oyegunle who was represented by the Deputy President Mr Edwin Igbiti gave the assurance Thursday at the 2021 Christmas Carol and Thanksgiving Service held at the Hoards Memorial Methodist Cathedral, Yaba, Lagos.

According to him, this year’s carol service was the best the institute has witnessed so far .

He stated that the institute had to get every sector involved in reading the nine lessons of the Carol to show that it recognizes God in its operations.

He said, “It has been a tradition that we need to Thank God and give glory to God. The appreciation is for us to tell God that we are grateful that he see us through this year.”

He revealed that the association is grateful to God for making it possible to hold the Carol service as they couldnt hold in 2020 due to the outbreak of Covid19

“This happens to be the best we have ever had and we thank God. The main essence of this carol is to give God thanks and therefore we appreciate him “

On the choice of the venue, he said “We just recently move it here, if I am right this is the second time we are having it here, we can take it to another church by next year.”

Also speaking , the presbyter/ minister in charge, Rev Oluwole Akuyebi urge Nigerians not to wait until they have loss before insuring their properties .

On a lighter note, he demanded that there should be voice cover against loss voice while on stage perfoemance.

In his message, he said “The love of God is super and abundant beyond human comprehension So that love is extravagant. When God sends his Christmas gift it was in these four ps, it was personal because he gave himself , practical, that is why it is only when we have tested the risk of losing your valuables then they will be able to know how it is very sure to insure their properties, but when they do not know that something can be lost in a giffy and wont be able to know the risk attached when you to not insure your properties because it was very useful, the gift is pleasing and permanent.”

“That is why God has placed all of you and you are to reach out to people your own generation.

The carol featured two industry own choir, the Mutual Benefits Assurance Choir, andthe Professional Insurance Ladies Association Choir.

During the benediction, Akuyebi blessed the Institute and and prayed that year 2022 will be a successful year in the Industry at large.
