Again Gov. Namadi Loses Eldest Son In Auto Crash

Barely 24-hours after Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa state lost his mother, death has once again struck his household as he lost his eldest son, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi, on Thursday.

A statement by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Hamisu Mohammed Gumel, said Abdulwahab Umar Namadi died on Thursday as a result of a ghastly auto crash along Dutse-Kafin Hausa road

“With a heavy heart and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah, His Excellency Mallam Umar Namadi, Governor of Jigawa State, announces the passing of yet another member of his family; his dear son Abdulwahab Umar Namadi.

“He departed this world this afternoon (Thursday, December 26th, 2024) as a result of a ghastly motor accident along Dutse-Kafin-Hausa Road.

’24 year old, late Abdulwahab is survived by his parents and many siblings.”

The burial rite has taken place in Kafin Hausa town, in accordance with Islamic rites.

It would be recalled that the governor’s spokesman on Wednesday announced the passage of the governor’s mother, Hajia Maryam Namadi.
