TCN Steps Up Transmission Hitting New Peak Of 5,584.40MW Within 24 Hours

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), has within 24 hours recorded to two improved new transmission peaks, the latest being 5,584.40MW on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 21.15 hours.

The previous transmission peak of 5,552.80MW was recorded on Wednesday January 6th, 2021 at 20:15hrs that was equally transmitted.

According to a statement by the TCN General Manager (Public Affairs), Mrs Ndidi Mbah, this latest all-time peak transmitted, surpassed the last peak generation of 5,552.80MW transmitted by TCN by 31.60MW.

She affirmed the management of TCN assurances to continue to work hard to ensure efficient transmission of power generated on the nation’s electricity grid.
