…As NNPP receives APC, PDP supporters in Jigawa,

The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has lashed out at the leadership style of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying his economic policies have pushed Nigerians into untold hardship.
The state NNPP leader and gubernatorial candidate of the party in Jigawa in the 2023 general elections, Malam Aminu Ibrahim Ringim made the observation shortly after receiving thousands of supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the main opposition People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) who defected to the party in Dutse.
Ringim, who deplored the pattern of Tinubu’s administration as dictatorial said, ” With abundance resources Nigeria blessed with, we Nigerians doesn’t deserve this hardship from present administration under APC .
“As opposition party we have kept silent for almost one year as benefit of doubt to them but, still nothing to show, so now we concluded all arrangement to challenge the ruling party both at national and state level on why this unnecessary hardship”, he said.
Ringim who is four-time chief of staff, (CoS) and two-time governorship candidate of the PDP told reporters that, besides receiving the decampees, other purposes of the gathering was to meet with leadership of NNPP in the 27 local government areas in Jigawa state to discuss and come out with strategies on how to save Nigerians from the hardship.
“Our party NNPP as opposition party we wouldn’t allow this to continue like that, we must challenge and call the ruling party APC to do the right thing as Nigerians are entitled to survive without this untold hardship”.
He dispelled rumours of his purported plans to defect to the ruling APC, saying, ‘What is in APC that I will go and join, is it not the party that has made poverty the way of life for Nigerians? In-fact rather than asking whether I’ll join the party the question should be how to join forces together to flush out APC and the leadership of Tinubu in 2027.”
According to Ringim, the only way the country could get a credible leadership is to have verile opposition, in addition to have a paradigm shift from the 2023 general elections to a truly free, fair and credible elections in 2027.
He urged Nigerians to avoid the repeat of the mistake of ‘collect and vote’ that characterized the last general elections in the next general elections to save the future of the country.
