Nigerian Government Intensifies Road Reconstruction As Fashola Inspects Sites

The Government of Nigeria has intensified efforts at ensuring motorable roads in the country as the nation’s Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola has embarked on the spot inspection of the construction sites.

In a tweet at the weekend, the ministry showcased some of the ongoing roads construction works in various parts of the country being inspected by the minister.

The sites include the reconstruction of Sokoto-Tambuwal-Jega-Kotangora-Makera Road, Phase 1 and 2, in Kebbi and Niger States ; dualization of Suleja-Minna Road, Phase II in Niger State; and Construction of Agaie-Katcha-Baro Road in Niger State.

Other sites include emergency repairs of Tatabu Bridge, along Tegina-Mokwa-Jebba Road, in Niger State; ongoing Construction of Ikot-Ekpene-Akwa Ibom-Aba-Owerri, Dualization Section 1, Phase 1 in Imo State.
