New Minimum Wage Demand: LASU Final Year Students To Commence Lectures 21st September, 2020

The Management of Lagos State University has announced that its final year students will commence lectures Monday, 21st September, 2020.

The University announced this Today in a statement by its Coordinator, Centre for Information Press and Public Relations, Ademola Adekoya.

It stated “Following the agreement between the Lagos State Government and Joint Action Committee of Staff Unions (ASUU, SSANU, NASU, and NAAT) on the payment of the new minimum wage, and the subsequent release by the office of the Special Adviser of Education in relation to same, the University Campuses have been opened for normal academic and administrative activities.”

“Sequel to this latest development, the University Management hereby announces that lectures would commence for final year students (400L, 500L and 600L, depending on the duration of programme) on Monday, 21st September, 2020.”

“All other resumption guidelines remain as earlier released by the University Management on Friday, 11th September, 2020 via the University official bulletin number LASU/CIPPR/2107,” It stated.
