Kidnappers Of Emir Of Kajuru, Family Members Demand For N200 Million Ransom

Kidnappers of the Emir of Kajuru in Kaduna State, Alhaji Alhassan Adamu and his family members are demanding for a ransom of N200 million.

The traditional ruler and 10 members of his family were abducted in his palace on Sunday morning.

Speaking to newsmen on Monday, a palace source said the abductors had contacted the palace and were demanding for N200 million.

“Yes, the bandits have contacted us and they are demanding for N200 million as ransom,” the source said

According to the source, the entire people of the emirate are overwhelmed over the kidnapping of the traditional ruler and his family members.

“We are praying he will be released in good health. Apart from that, we have started offering special prayers for his quick return,” the source added.

Meanwhile, the Kaduna State Police Command has said security agencies had been deployed to the forest to rescue the emir.
