Group Donates Food Item, Cash Gifts To Over 100 Women In Warri

The chairperson and founder of “We Care Women for Sheriff”, Governor of Delta state and Senior Special Assistant on Women Mobilization Hon. Mrs Marian Chetuya Ofili, has commenced distribution of foodstuffs and cash gifts in Iva Josh Hotel Osubi Warri with the aims of putting smiles on their faces.

Saying that more women are being targeted in the distribution of the items, Hon. Ofili explained that this is part of the efforts to enable women celebrate the season with joy and happiness.

Women took part in various games and activities as part of the yuletide fun.

“Christmas is a time for giving, and as women, we have the power to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Whether through community service, charitable initiatives, or simply offering a kind word to those in need.

Let this Christmas be a time of connection, where the young and old come together to create a legacy of strength and resilience. 

“As we gather with family and friends to celebrate the birth of Christ, let us not forget that our dear state need us. We are blessed to be Deltans, I appeal that we support Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State for the development of our state”, Hon. Ofili said.
