G-5 PDP Govs Hit Benue

The G-five Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors have arrived Makurdi, capital of Benue State for the commissioning of some projects executed by Governor Samuel Ortom and flag off of the 2023 election campaigns.

Ortom, the host Governor, received his four other colleagues at the airport and moved to the Government Lodge at Government House.

Governors Seyi Makinde (Oyo); Ikpeazu Okezie (Abia); Nyesom Wike (Rivers) and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu) with Ortom have been demanding the resignation of National Chairman of the party Senator Iyorchia Ayu as a condition to support Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the party.

They are expected to hold a closed-door meeting. On Monday, they will commission some projects executed by Ortom as well as kick off the PDP campaigns.
