Fani-Kayode Spits Fire Against Miyetti Allah’s Call To Arrest OBJ

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has dared Miyetti Allah and President Muhammadu Buhari, to go ahead in arresting former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and see if the Yorubas will not revolt against such uncalled action.

Chief Obasanjo had on Monday released an open letter to President  Buhari, in which he expressed concerns over the worsening wave of insecurity of lives and properties in Nigeria and urged the government to halt the trend,  and if not, the country is moving towards precipice and destruction.

In a swift response, Miyetti Allah asked Buhari to arrest Obasanjo, accusing him of not being patriotic to the country.

But reacting Tuesday, Femi Fani-Kayode through his verified Twitter handle @realFFK, said that arresting “OBJ is reckless, irresponsible and dangerous.”

He maintained that arresting OBJ for speaking truth would push Nigerians closer to the scenario of violent Yugoslavia-type, break-up of the country and a Rwandan-type genocide if things don’t change.

Fani-Kayode wrote on his Twitter wall saying, “Miyetti Allah’s call for the arrest of OBJ is reckless, irresponsible and dangerous. He warned against a violent Yugoslavia-type break-up of the country and a Rwandan-type genocide if things don’t change. Arresting him for speaking truth will only push us closer to that scenario.

“You do nothing but butcher cows and men and yet u have the nerve to call for the arrest of OBJ?Who do u think u are?

“I dare @MBuhari to go ahead and do ur bidding. That is when u will know that even a madman has relatives.U are sitting on a time-bomb and playing with fire.”
