Ember Months Campaigns: Jigawa FRSC Gets Three Operational Vehicles.

As part of the preparation for the commencement of the accident- free ember months campaigns for the year 2022, the National Headquarters of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Abuja has presented three new vehicles to FRSC Jigawa State Sector Command to enhance its operation.

The vehicles includes an Ambulance and two Pickup Vehicles equipped with modern gadgets for Operational Activities .

The State Sector Commander of the Corps, Ahmed Mohammed, who confirmed the receipt of the vehicles in a statement on Monday, said, they were meant to enhance service delivery by his men.

While appreciating the management of the Corps for “the unprecedented gesture”, he called on all drivers to always adopt a “common sense speed,” particularly during the rain season and obey traffic rules/regulations to avoid crashes.”

The FRSC chief assured that the vehicles would be properly utilized for enforcement, road traffic crash prevention and rescue services.

“The drivers must also be conscious and cautious while driving as some of the roads within the State are defective due to excessive rainfall.

“We must all understand that road safety is everybody’s business and we must drive to stay alive.”
