The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has warned the public to disregard the promoters of the ponzi scheme operating under the name ” National Insurance Com” which name was designed to mislead unsuspecting persons targeted to be swindled by the fraudsters.

NAICOM further clarified that it neither has any link with the promoters nor floated any such unrealistic fraudulent scheme.

NAICOM’s Head of Corporate Affairs, Salami Rasaq Obomeile, who noted that ithe Commission’s attention was drawn to the trending scheme, however stressed “The Commission hereby disclaims this group that’s trending on WhatsApp. Members of the public are advised to ignore it. It’s FRAUD.”

The promoters of the scheme trending on WhatsApp, claimed that it was newly launched and gave the impression that participants would receive double of whatever amount donated within 25 minutes of paying any of the specified ranges of donation.
