Late night mysterious fire has engulfed Gamboru market, described as one of the densely populated markets in Maiduguri metropolis, Borno state.

The report by the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) through its threads handle, did not give details.

However, the report said “Firefighters, security operatives and people in the neighbourhood have helped quench the fire.

“The cause of the disaster is yet to be ascertained”.
