Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo state

Reports emanating from Imo state Capital, Owerri indicates that gunmen have attacked the Prison Headquarters along Okigwe road, freeing unspecified number of inmates and detainees.

The gunmen were said to have also set ablaze police facilities in a midnight attack.
