After almost two days of speculations on whereabout of Nigerian Air Force Fighter Jet which got missing while on surveillance mission in the North East Wednesday, Boko Haram faction has claimed responsibility of gunning it down.
In its released video, Boko Haram showed “fighters carrying RPG & artillery equipment, as well as a corpse of the pilot & the aircraft’s debris.”

via @HumAngle_, “Boko Haram faction has released a footage of it shooting down a fighter jet mid-air. The military had on Wed. said an aircraft was missing. The video also showed fighters carrying RPG & artillery equipment, as well as a corpse of the pilot & the aircraft’s debris. Details later.”

The Nigerian Air Force Alpha Jet aircraft (NAF475) was declared missing and later confirmed crashed by the military authorities.
The Director of Information and Public Relations (DOPRI), Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, had in a statement earlier on Friday, said that intelligence report gathered by the NAF indicates that the warplane that went off the radar with two crew members on board on 31 March 2021 might have crashed.
