BREAKING: APC Panel Disqualifies Obaseki From Primary Election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) screening committee for the Edo governorship primary has disqualified Godwin Obaseki, the governor from contesting in the July 22 primary election.

Jonathan Ayuba, chairman of the screening committee, said this while presenting his report to Adams Oshiomhole, APC national chairman, at the national secretariat in Abuja.

The screening committee declared that Obaseki and two others were unqualified  to contest in the election

Others also disqualified are Hon. Matthew Iduoroyekemwen and Egnr. Chris Ogiemwonyi.

Edo current governor was disqualified over alleged discrepancies in his educational certificates and NYSC.
