Breaking: Abducted College Provost In Zamfara State Regains Freedom

The Provost, College of Agriculture and Animal Sciences, Bakura in Zamfara State, North-West Nigeria, Mainasara Habib has regained his freedom.

Younger brother of the Provost, Mainasara Nasiru confirmed his release to ait.live via WhatsApp message.

He said the Provost regained freedom around 10:50pm this Wednesday. He however did not say whether ransom was paid before he was released by his abductors.

He thanked everyone for all their concerns especially the Media which helped to publicise the incident.

The Provost who was abducted in the early hours of last Sunday by gunmen spent 3 days in captivity.
