Ambode Host Lagos State Petroleum Marketers Safety Conference, UBA, Others Sponsor

All is set for the Lagos State Petroleum Marketers Safety Conference as the Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode plays host to the event which is slated for 18th – 20th September, 2018 at the Federal Palace, Lagos.

The Two-Day event which is poised at enhancing productivity in handling petroleum products has the Leading Pan African financial Services Group, United Bank for Africa (UBA) , a subsidiary of First Bank Holdings, FBN General Insurance , and Sovereign Trust Insurance(STI) as its top sponsors.

“According to the organizers of the event, J Bendeb Sylmar Associates the conference will turn out to be a rallying point in the industry.”

Chief Executive Officer, J Bendeb Sylmar Associates, James Akin Ashokeji said “The collaboration with Lagos State will certainly create an avenue for cross fertilization of ideas, set agenda and define the industry space for petroleum industry space in the state.

Speakers to Grace the Event are The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr Emmaneul Ibe Kachikwu, the Chairman House Committee on Petroleum Resources, Downstream, Hon. Akinlaja Joseph.

Lagos State Safety Commission is structured to develop policies and strategies that will build a sustainable safety culture through a regulated and coordinated safety system.

It was inaugurated on the 5th of May 2009 as an office of Public Safety under the Ministry of Special Duties to set safety standards for all sectors involved in the socio-economic activities in the state.
