In the last four years, African Alliance Insurance has paid a total of N40 billion in claims payments. Notably, a significant portion of these payments, totaling a whopping N21.4 billion, has been allocated to the company’s annuitants during this period.
African Alliance, a renowned life insurer boasting 63 years of industry expertise, reaffirms its dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction through swift and professional claims settlement.
Managing Director Joyce Ojemudia, head of the company recently awarded the prestigious “Claims Insurance Company of the Year” accolade for 2022, reiterated the firm’s commitment to promptly addressing valid claims, thus ensuring lasting happiness for customers.
From 2019 to 2023, African Alliance demonstrated this commitment by disbursing an impressive sum of over N40 billion in claims payments.
This substantial amount, distributed across various business units, reflects the company’s unwavering dedication to fulfilling its obligations to policyholders.
Noteworthy disbursements include N5.1 billion for group life, N7.5 billion for individual life, N3.4 billion for esusu, N2.8 billion for takaful, and a significant N21.4 billion for annuity payments.
The momentum continues into 2024, with African Alliance proactively disbursing over N1.1 billion in claims within the initial 58 days of the year.
Ojemudia reaffirmed the company’s commitment to stakeholders, emphasizing ongoing strategic initiatives aimed at further solidifying African Alliance’s position as a leader in Nigeria’s life assurance sector.
