Avaition Sector Commence Strike Tuesday October 2nd

By LOVETH AZODO, Lagos.

Following the commencement of Strike declared by Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress, the Avaition sector has declared commencement of Strike as from Tuesday, 2nd October, 2018.

In a statement signed by President National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE),Comrade Mohammed Safiyanu, urged all aviation workers to be compliant of the strike and be at alert for further directives

He pointed out that the Labour centres granted moratorium to the avaition unions to allow the conclusion of the NUATE national delegates conference scheduled for 26th -28th September, 2018 which was before the declaration of the National strike

“The general strike will commence effectively I’m the Avaition sector on Tuesday 2nd October, 2018. All aviation workers are to compliance of the strike and be at alert for further directive” Safiyanu said.
