Sanusi Garba Harps On Sustenance Of Quality Service To Nigerians

In continuing efforts to satisfy electricity consumers, the Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), Sanusi Garba, has tasked the members of staff to sustain the delivery of quality service to Nigerians at all times.

The NERC Chairman made the charge while speaking at a sensitisation programme ​by Service Compact with all Nigerians (ServiCom) led by the National Coordinator, Mrs Nnenna Akajemeli at the Commission.

He underscored the importance of quality and efficient service delivery to satisfy the yearnings of stakeholders in the electricity value chain and contribute to economic development of the country with minimal resources being spent, according to a post on NERC’s social media handle.

The ServiCom Nigeria team was at NERC to sensitize the members of staff on quality service delivery in line with its mandate of engaging with ministries, departments and agencies of government to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery to Nigerians.

ServiCom Head of Operations, Mrs Ngozi Akinbodewa, in her presentation titled, ‘Working of the ServiCom Office’ enumerated the goals and ideals of the ​agency such as creating a culture of demand among citizens and customers, instilling higher expectations from public services and publishing performance information, among others.
