Overnight Russian Missile strikes at Kyiv, Ukraine, Thursday have killed a journalist at Ukraine’s Radio Liberty, Vira Hyrych.

BBC reports said the 55-year-old Journalist was killed in one of several Russian missile strikes on Kyiv on Thursday, the station says

Vira Hyrych, who was killed when a missile struck her home, was described as “a bright and kind person, a true professional”

Vira Hyrych was a 55-year-old Ukrainian journalist for US-funded broadcaster Radio Liberty, which described her as “a true professional”.

Her body was discovered this (Friday) morning after a missile struck her home in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv on Thursday, according to a statement by the radio station.

“A wonderful person is gone,” her colleague Oleksandr Demchenko said on Facebook.
