Southern Kaduna youths have called on the state house of assembly to impeach Governor Nasir El-Rufai over failure to bring an end to the deepening security situations in the State
They made the call at a protest held in Abuja following the recent killings of over forty persons in the area last week
Tears, pandemonium and blood bath greeted the defenseless residents of the Atyap and other Communities in zango kataf, Kaduna state following an attack launched by gunmen on Tuesday night killing over 40 persons including 85 years old woman.
Four churches were burnt and 215 houses were razed in the attacks over the past 7 days
Southern Kaduna has been the centre of many attacks by herders for the past 15 years.
The worrying situations again prompted the southern Kaduna youths to protest in Abuja for the removal of the state governor, Nasir El-rufai over failure to put the situation under control.
The young protesters also demanded the declaration of state of emergency in Kaduna state.
The youths also urged the federal government. to consider their request for a creation of southern Kaduna state.
