CIIN Begins 2026 Exam Registration December 1

The Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) has announced the commencement of online registration for its April 2026 Professional Examinations, inviting entries from candidates within and outside the insurance industry.

The registration window opens on Monday, December 1, and runs until Saturday, January 31, 2026, through the Institute’s website, www.ciinigeria.org

In addition to the main diet, the Institute is also calling on its Associates and Fellows to register for the Post-AIIN April 2026 Examination Diet in Loss Adjusting Practice, which will be conducted within the same registration period.

The Institute noted that late registration will be available from February 1 to February 14, 2026, after which no changes to subjects or examination centres will be allowed. It also stated that withdrawal from the examination after February 14 is strictly prohibited.

Candidates are required to log in to the CIIN members’ portal via the official website, navigate to the examination section, and follow the instructions provided.

Coursebooks for the various subjects are available both at the CIIN Secretariat and designated chapters nationwide, and can also be accessed digitally. A list of accredited tutorial centres has been published on the Institute’s website and can be viewed through the study centres section.

The CIIN further disclosed that fee rebates are available for undergraduates studying insurance in any of its accredited tertiary institutions across the country.
