
President Muhammadu Buhari has threatened to jail more Nigerians alleged to have looted the country shortly on his arrival to Nigeria from London, United Kingdom.
He had been away for 10-days working vacation in London and returned Saturday.
His return however, generated divergent views as most Nigerians in various Twitter handles questioned why he chose to holiday in London instead of at Obudu Ranch and Resort, Cross River state or in his home town, Daura, Katsina state.
Further, others wished that President Buhari should have stayed longer than the period to give room for the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo to carry on as he has demonstrated precise execution of presidential responsibilities expected by Nigerians.
According President Buhari while fielding questions from Journalists on arrival, “We are going to jail more of those who brought down our economy. Nigerians expect us to do so. We will do so”
This was also variously tweeted by Lauretta Onochie, an Aide to

The Ekiti state Governor, Peter Ayodele Fayose through his Twitter handle @GovAyoFayose, questioned why the President would be wasting the nation’s scarce resources to holiday in London.
Fayose said: “It is only in Nigeria that govt will pay dancers to welcome a President who left his country for fifteen days to enjoy himself abroad at the expense of public fund. Yar ‘Adua didn’t travel abroad for holidays, he went to Obudu in Cross Rivers. How did we get here?

Jonathan holidayed at Otuoke.Buhari, the change ambassador, is a brand ambassador has taken countless vacation to London. Maybe he got his vote from UK. No good can come out of him.”
Further, Uncle Olisa said: “Can you go back Sir, UK needs you better than we do and moreso Nigeria has achieved a lot in your absence”
On his part, Mane Heavy Bone @chiddysville2 said “Now the Fulani herdsmen would be energized once again. He should have remained there”
