Published

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has restored power at 4:08 p.m. Sunday after a planned outage at the 132/33kV Apo Transmission Substation, Abuja.

The outage was necessitated by the need to address a fault on Apo Lines 1 and 2 between Towers T130 and T132.

Following the successful completion of OPGW latching on the 2x132kV Apo Transmission lines, power supply has now been fully restored.

TCN in a statement expressed appreciation for the patience and understanding of electricity customers affected during the outage.

It reassured commitment remains to maintaining a reliable and efficient transmission network for improved electricity supply.
