Biafra: IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu Appears In Jerusalem Praying At Wailing Wall

Barely after a year, a detachment of the Nigerian military on Operation Python Dance Two stormed the country home of the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, at Afaraukwu community in Abia State, he has appeared in Jerusalem on Friday, praying at the wailing wall.

A video and photographs of him circulating online showed him adorning the prayer attire of Israeli and holding a prayer book, which type could not be ascertained.

Kanu was last seen in Nigeria on September 10, 2017 after some military men invaded his residence in Afaraukwu community in Abia State.

Confirming the video and pictures, a source close to IPOB spokesperson, Emma Powerful but chose to be anonymous was quoted by DAILY POST as saying, “The video is true, Emma Powerful confirmed it to me.”

Meanwhile the former Governor of Abia state, Orji Uzor Kalu had reportedly reacted to the news of appearance of Kanu in Jerusalem.

Kalu had earlier claimed and told President Muhammadu Buhari that Kanu was in London.

Uzor Kalu was quoted to have tweeted on Friday saying in reaction to Nnamdi Kanu’s appearance in Jerusalem, “Sentiments shouldn’t always be cloud our judgements.

“We were castigated all over the media when we told them our President @MBuhari was alive, healthy and would return.

“I told them Nnamdi Kanu was alive and well, they called us unprintable names. Let Love, Law and Unity lead.”
