Abuja Collapsed Building: NEMA Suspends Rescue Operation, Confirms Rescue Of Seven Persons
The Director General of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Mustapha Maihaja, has suspended rescue operations at the scene of the collapsed building in Abuja.
The suspension of rescue operations by NEMA is coming amidst speculations that some persons May still be trapped inside the rubbles of the collapsed four storey building.
Maihaja who was at the site of building collapse, confirmed the rescue of seven persons; one person dead, one critically injured and five others rescued alive.
While addressing Journalists, he said “The rescue operation has been called off.”
