Chidinma Ojukwu has reversed his earlier acceptance of killing SuperTV CEO, Usifo Ataga, claiming that someone else must have entered the shortlet apartment and killed him while she was out to buy things including drugs for their use.
She gave a vivid account of the condition she met the room on return, saying that she noticed that the entrance door was not locked as Ataga locked the door while she was going out to buy things.
Further, she said the bedroom was scattered, with the duvet on the floor while the couch was backing the door. She said Ataga was on the floor with bloods while some of the things including her cloth were stained with blood.
She on sighting the scene, she was terrified and wondered who must have entered the apartment to kill him, adding that someone known to him must have known where they were and also knew when she was out.
Chidinma in an interview with Crime Watch, also narrated that she took her things and his ATM card and left while she informed the security at the apartment to check on Ataga later.
She claimed that she was scared of what she saw and was afraid that she would be arrested as the person who did since the apartment security knew two them wer
The 21-year-old University of Lagos student who was interviewed by Crime Fighters, described Ataga as someone who gets angry easily and was always busy.
She further revealed that the Super TV CEO was having issues with his wife and was not in a happy marriage, as it was more of catering for his kids.
Ojukwu also denied having N10m in her account, revealing that she has about N400-500k which was money she made from selling a laptop which the deceased gave her.
She further revealed that they rented a shortlet apartment because Usifo said it wouldn’t be fun staying in a hotel.
