20th Anniversary: Lamido Felicitates With Hadejia Emir In Jigawa

The Jigawa State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Dr. Mustapha Sule Lamido has described the Emir of Hadejia, Alhaji Adamu Abubakar Maje as the epitome of just and impeccable leader.

In a congratulatory message to the monarch on the occasion of his 20th anniversary on the throne made available on Tuesday, Lamido joined thousands of his admirers and well wishers to congratulate the royal father.

Maje, besides being the Chairman of the Jigawa State Traditional Council is also the Chancellor of the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom state.

The younger Lamido, who holds the traditional title of Santurakin Dutse said, “It s an acknowledged fact that emir of Hadejia has impeccable and unblemished records of service in both private and public sectors.”

The PDP flag bearer described the emir’s 20 years on the throne of his forefathers as a blissful period to the people of Jigawa state and indeed the traditional Institution in Northern Nigeria.

He said in just 20 years of his reign, the Emir of Hadejia has earned for himself a place in history as a peacemaker, patriot, bridge builder and a beacon of unity who is committed to the national interest of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The governorship candidate, who is the son of the immediate past governor of the state, Sule Lamido extolled the monarch’s uncommon leadership qualities, which he has demonstrated over the years.

He also wished him many more years of service in good health to the people of Jigawa state in particular and Nigeria in general.
