Warrior Mums Global, an international community focused on intentional parenting and family development, is set to host the maiden edition of its annual conference in Lagos.
The conference, themed “Lionesses Arise: Guarding the Pride, Raising Kings,” will hold on Saturday, July 18, at The Dome, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, bringing together mothers, caregivers, educators, family advocates, ministry leaders and parenting enthusiasts from across Nigeria and beyond.
Founded in 2019 by family and holistic life coach, counsellor and leadership consultant, Sola Oguche-Agudah, Warrior Mums Global has grown into a network of mothers across Africa, Europe and North America, providing mentorship, parenting resources, discipleship, prayer support and community engagement programmes aimed at strengthening families and shaping future generations.
Speaking ahead of the event, Oguche-Agudah said the conference is designed to encourage mothers to embrace their role as influential leaders in the home and society.
According to her, motherhood remains one of the most significant leadership responsibilities, as the values instilled in children today will ultimately shape the future of communities and nations.
“We believe motherhood is one of the most powerful leadership assignments on earth. The Warrior Mums Conference is a call for mothers to rise intentionally, embrace their influence, and raise children who will positively shape families, communities, nations and the world,” she said.
The one-day conference will feature practical sessions on parenting, leadership development, faith-based family values, personal growth and networking, alongside worship and prayer sessions designed to strengthen mothers in their parenting journey.
Among the speakers expected at the event are the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Glam Brand Agency, Bola Balogun; leadership coach and bestselling author, Debola Deji-Kurunmi; and Oguche-Agudah, who is also the convener of Warrior Mums Global.
Organisers said the conference will be held in a hybrid format to enable participation by both physical and virtual attendees, with hundreds of participants expected on-site and thousands more joining through digital platforms.
They added that the initiative is part of the organisation’s broader commitment to promoting family development, leadership formation and nation-building, while calling on corporate organisations and development partners to support programmes that empower mothers and strengthen families.
