The Association of Corporate Online Editor (ACOE) has congratulated the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga CON, on being conferred with nation’s national honour of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON).
It would be recalled that on Thursday, June 12, 2025 Democracy Day, President Bola Tinubu while addressing the joint session of the National Assembly, announced the Onanuga and 138 others for National Honours in recognition of their respective outstanding contributions that shaped the nation’s democracy.
According to a statement, ACOE received the news of the well-deserved recognition with the National honour, Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) conferred on Special Adviser on Information & Strategy to President Tinubu, Mr Bayo Onanuga CON.
“This is a well-deserved recognition by the number one person in the country”, the Association further asserted.
Reacting to the news, the newly elected chairman of the ACOE, Omosola Akingboye, expressed “Heartiest congratulations to the Special Adviser on Information & Strategy to President Tinubu, Mr Bayo Onanuga CON, on being honoured with the Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON), a prestigious national award.
“This recognition is a testament to Onanuga’s outstanding contributions and dedication to public service,” he added.
While wishing him continued success and impactful contribution as he carries out his daily duties, Akingboye further pledged the entire Association’s commitment to foster a robust media relationship and collaborations with Mr Onanuga’s office to create a new Nigeria.
