Former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has lost the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial primaries in Kaduna state.

Sani who lost the ticket to Honourable Isah Ashiru Mohammed, came last with only two votes while a former governor of the state, Ramalan Yero, came third with 28 votes.

Ashiru scored 414 votes to clinch the ticket while Sani Sidi scored 260 votes to come second and Sanni Abbas got 15 votes to come fourth while Haruna Saeed secured 11 votes to come second from behind.
The total invalid votes were 30.
